Day 1 : Marrakech - Ait Benhadou - Ouarzazate Draa valley - Zagora
After breakfast, we leave Marrakech venturing through the magnificent Atlas Mountains and the pass of Tichka (2260 m), offering an impressive landscape in the heart of the Atlas Mountain chain to Ouarzazate where many famous movies have been shot such Alexander the Great, The Mummy, The jewel of the Nile, Kingdom of heaven Etc...The scenery is absolutely stunning. We stop in the kasbah of Ait Benhaddou one of the most spectacular fortresses in the South of Morocco and a UNESCO world heritage site. Lunch in Ouarzazate as "The Hollywood of Africa". We continue our journey to the Draa valley at the length of 200 km before we achieve Zagora. Overnight with dinner at the hotel.
Day 2 : Zagora - Tamgeroute - M'hamid - Erg Chigaga
After breakfast, we drive into Tamgerout to visit the famous Koran Library and subterranean Kasbah and the Manufacture of pottery. Then, continue towards M’hamid for lunch on the place. In the afternoon, after one hour and a half camel ride, we take a track which carries out through the rocky desert scenery to the sand dunes of Chigaga that spread over 40 km. Welcome drink. Then you enjoy the sunset. Overnight in a desert camp or under a star-filled sky with evening meal and breakfast included..
Day 3 : Erg Chigaga - Iriqui lake - Foum Zguid - Taznakht - Marrakech
After breakfast in Erg Chigaga desert camp, departure with 4x4Â via the old Paris - Dakar race road to Foum Zguid crossing Iriqui lake, lunch break in the Berber village of Taznakht. We arrive in Marrakech at app. 18.30.
